About

I am currently a post doctoral scholar at the Agile Robotics and Perception Lab working with Professor Giuseppe Loianno in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at University of California, Berkeley. I have done my PhD at the Autonomous Systems Lab at ETH Zurich, supervised by Roland Siegwart I worked on autonomous avalanche monitoring with long endurance UAVs as part of the Avalmapper project.

My research interests lie in information gathering, uncertainty quantification, autonomy, aerial robotics. Currently I am working on developing effective soaring capabilities for long endurance UAVs as part of the DARPA Albatross program.

I am also an active contributor in the opensource PX4 Autopilot project, currently the maintainer of the simulation component of the project.
